I’m only 15 but it doesn’t stop me from liking old Mopar rather then jdm which everyone my age is about. Own a 73 Cuda numbers matching 340/727 rallye red vinyl top and white interior. I know I have the most produced Cuda as my combination is so popular but I know someday I’ll own an f8 70. Currently restoring and hope to drive it once I get permit though it’s tons of time consuming hard and extremely enjoyable labor. -Dan from Jersey

Welcome Aboard Dan, that is awesome. Not enough young guys like you out there. It’s an expensive hobby but dig in and get your hands dirty. Way to go:thumbsup:

Many of us started the same way.....keep up the hard work.....better than staring at the phone all day (except when you are looking for Mopar tips and advice !!).

Reminds me of my son working on his 67 Notchback. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged! Rod

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! You must have someone special in your life that guided you to this point at such an early age, good on them and good on you! I was way into Mopars at 15 but was nowhere near putting on a welding helmet.

If you are looking for patches for your Cuda, I believe the 71/72 B-bodies shared the same cowl and inner fenders. Can be easier to find and cheaper.

:welcome: to FEBO.
Great looking Cuda project.
I grew up in North Bergen, so I know what it’s like to work on a car in a driveway. My neighbors were usually pretty ok with the noise. I was always tearing in to Mopars. Got lucky later and was able to rent an old, wooden 3 car long garage in West New York to store and work on cars.
Looks like you jumped right in. Good for you!

Where did you pick up your welding skills?
I know they built a really great Voc Tech High School on Tonnelle Avenue a few years back.

Welcome aboard from mid Michigan. Glad you chose Mopar as your car of choice Dan. Looks like you are getting right after your project. Lot's of good information and help here from folks who love their Mopars.

Doesn’t matter what year you have just enjoy it and make it your own! My first Cuda was a 73. Sold it 25 yrs later to build a 71 and now that that’s done I’m building another 73 same as yours but a different color Good luck!

Ha,ha...
You got married at 15.
Welcome to the site sir.

Thanks everyone for the welcoming I’m glad to see such a helpful and friendly community here. I am familiar with the area I’m right here in weehawken so I do have to deal with the occasional complaint and cramped driveway.

Love seeing this :-) Reminds me of myself many many years ago. Keep us posted and good luck!
