Could anyone provide an eye-to-eye measurement of the transmission wiper arm p/n 2822292? I have a strange situation I'm working through with a 72 Road Runner that has had the cowl replaced with an E-body cowl. My B-body transmission arm is a bit too long (presuming the wiper motor position is different in the E-body cowl).

Shorter is what I'll need, looks to be about 1.5" or so. Gotta love the downstream consequences of others' choices!

After some research & buying some E body linkage arms, I've solved my problem. As you can see, the transmission arm for the B and E bodies are essentially identical.

3431101 B body
2822292 E body

The connecting arm for the E body is longer
3433103 B body
2822291 E body

The problem is when the folks who replaced sheet metal put an E body cowl in the 72 Road Runner, the right (passenger) pivot moves farther away from the left (driver) pivot. Motor to driver pivot appears to be the same between the two.
Quite the ordeal, maybe this will help someone else down the line.
