Hello All, I am currently restoring a 74 Cuda and looking to see if any can help me with the date of manufacture. The vin is BS23G4B348929, looking to put a vin sticker on the door. I do not have any other information other than the vin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it still has the original engine in it you could look at the casting number. They were cast about 3 or 4 months before the vehicle being built if I remember correctly. Fender tag would be helpful as well. Also look all over the inside and see if you can find a broadcast sheet.

Thanks of the info. No engine, no fender tag and no broadcast sheet,

Sounds like you have a clean slate for you build. Have fun and enjoy it when done!

If the original engine crossmember is still in it there’ll be a date code stamped on it which iirc would be the date that the engine was mounted on it. It’s stamped forward facing and just under the crank pulley.
