Hello. I get a wheel hop at around 55 to 60 mph. I had the wheeel rebalanced three times???? Bent rim???

Thanks, Dave:icon_santa:

Is this every time you drive it? Thinking if the rim is bent they would of pointed it out since you had it balanced 3 times.

Replace it with another one so you can find out if you have problem with an axle.

Hello. It's every time I drive it. 15 inch rim with a BF Goodrich radial 60 series tire.

The rim was new when I purchased it. 15 inch rim with a 60 series tire. & inch wide rim.

Thanks, dave

Was that a 7" rim? Aluminum or steel ? Weights on both sides? Was the tire match mounted to the rim ? How about a picture. Remember it is hard for us to picture your problem without seeing what you are dealing with.

I have seen brand new BFGarbage tires with a 3/8" step in the tread where the belts overlap , I would make sure they are round just rotate the tire on the car or a balancer & see if the tire is round , I will bet it isn't , BFG is not a quality tire !!

That is true. After BFG was purchased by Uniroyal, Uniroyal used their green tire cores with BFG T/A molds. The quality went down the toilet. They are just Uniroyal tires with BFG Tread designs. The BFG Drag tires are much better.

What did you do to cause the vibration ? New tires? New rims ? Started right away with the change?

A couple of years ago A friend entered a car in the WOW car show , BFG was there basically giving new tires away to any car that entered the show so they would get the advertising in the show & still almost no one was taking them up on new tires LOL , the unfortunate part is there are very few tire comapnies left making the sizes for muscle cars .
