Hi,

I am a chevy guy myself. But my son just turned 13 and he wanted a Challenger to drive for his 16th birthday. We picked him up a 1974 Challenger the other day. So starts the adventure of fixing up a classic. I have fixed up many chev products, but this is my first mopar car. So I will likely be asking a lot of questions, I hope I won't be to much of a bother....LOL.

Thanks for the help and advice in advance.

T.

Very Nice!!! I'm a novice at restorations. The guy that rebuilt me 340 for my 73 Challenger project last year who is very familiar with Chevy motors kept telling me to go purchase this $50 part or this $100 part so he could keep working on it. When I went to go purchase those $50 and $100 parts it was more like $150 or $300. It seems like Mopar is more $ but well worth it.
I am finding out that there are 4 major things that are needed to bring a project like this to the finish line.

1)Money.

2)Place to work on it.

3)Desire.

4)Wife must be on board with the whole idea.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
