Replaced my rear springs with MP XHD and the rear is a little too low for my taste.

Would like it to be 1-3'' higher for a more tradition look. What are you guys running?

Yup this is normal , every car I have used MP HD Springs on sits low & sags lower , unfortunatley the springs are made in Mexico.
I generally do not use MP leafs But you can add either the main leaf with the ends cut off or the second longest leaf from your old springs just under the main leaf & replace the center bolts & that will fix it .

Thanks for weighing in on this .
I should have done my homework, was fooled by the logo.

I think it looks great but I never did like the a$$ in the air look.

I hear ya there it drops a lot when I add passengers.
And I’m super OCD...

Prior owner installed the MP's on my Challenger. It sits low, 24 inches from the ground to the fender lip in the rear and it rides like a dump truck.

I like the lowered look. Ordered a set of Hotchkis Sport Suspension leafs that advertise approximate 1 inch lowering and have a 160lb rate. Should soften up the rear a bit and I'll probably get an inch of ride height back.

Nice ride! let me know how it works out.

Hey 525, I bolted a set of MP Super Stocks under my Cuda and might have raised it 1/2” but no more. The p/n is P4452985 for the left and 984 for right. They handled really well before the upgrades, yet to get it fired and driving. The photos are before and after, sort-of. Do you have that monster running yet? Looks like you have made a ton progress.

Hi Gutz, tossed it together enough for a shake down. Still has the 4.10 gears.
It just knocks the tires off.
It’s plain funny.

Hope your up and runnng...

Yes, did the same thing. I actually still have the MP set as well. About a dozen years ago, year one offered a service on rear springs. Just gave them all the info and they had a set made from someone. I actually remembered this when another member ask me about the stance of my 73 cuda. At the time I thought they were the XHD but, sent him a message back that they were not. At that time year one was what I thought a fair price to do the springs and they came out to my liking.
Like the guys said, it’s a pretty easy fix just a pisser to mess with em again.
Just thought I’d throw that in.

I remember that the E-bodies sat low when they were new off the showroom floor. They were never level in stock trim. Need to go at least +1 to get them up. They will relax pretty quickly though.

Running firm feel suspension, rides nice , corners flat, rear lip 24-1/4 inch off the ground, front lip 23-3/4 from ground on 255 50 17 rear and 225 50 17 front
Hope this helps

Nice ride! Nearly exact same ride height and tire size as mine. How did you get front down? Prior owner of mine dropped by loosening the torsion bars... LCA is only about an inch off the rubber stop. I had to install SPC uppers to get the camber adjusted properly.

even with new ss style springs I an going to drop an Abody rear in mine so I can get the tires inside the fender wells :)(295-50-50 on keystone 15 x 10s)

I had the same issue with mp springs. What i did was measure the height of both quarters and took the springs to a spring shop and told them to rearc the springs to the specs i gave him .One side was 1 1/4 the other was 1 1/2 .Worked perfectly and got to use the springs i already purchased.
