hey how do i know if my 1971 barracuda has a rally dash or stand?i need to replace the dash wiring

yes it has the complete wiring in it now.....but not happy with it

Check for the tacho and clock wires, the std dash didn't have a tacho and not many had a clock.

Also check the fender tag for N85 (tacho) or A62 (rallye instrument panel cluster) my Challenger came from the factory with a rallye dash and has both of these codes on the fender tag.

Leo is right the vehicle wiring may have been upgraded some time in its life also a pic of the wiper motor may help is the headlight switch & wiper controls still intact

the complete dash is there on the car with the original wiring,just want to replace the dash wiring,i will upload pics in the evening

could you recommend a dash harness?people on here advised me a dash harness from year one?

Yes. They are the only company that sells a harness that is the replacement of the original. Every thing will just plug right in.

That is A nice dash cluster, but it for A 1972-74! reset knobs in the Wrong location, seat belt warning lamp in right corner. 70-71 reset knobs protrude through the bezel and no seat belt warning lamp.
