Tire size

I’m just curious what size tires most of you are putting on your Challengers and Cudas . I’m changing to a 15 in wheel and looking for a nice profile for the car. Thanks

Without modifications about 275 width is as wide as you can go. Currently on my 70 Challenger I have 255/60R15 on all four corners.

Not true. I have had 295's on my Challenger with no mods on 15x8 Rallye wheels. (First 2 pictures, now they are on my Charger). Currently, I run 295's on 4 different set of wheels on 4 different cars.
I now have mini tubbed my Challenger and moved the springs inboard and run Caltracs with -1" split mono leafs with 15x12 Wheels and 315/60/15 Drag Radials.

I used a 275 /50 Nitto on the rear , 295 fits fine with 17" rims as there is less sidewall bulge but is tight on 15 " rims

Good to know you can squeeze 295s in the rear on e-bodies!

I also even loaned my Rallye wheels that are now on my Charger with the 295's to my buddy who owns a 70' Cuda. He liked the look and wanted to verify that they fit before he bought his own. They did and he ordered the exact same size tires and wheels. So, they will fit both Challengers and Barracudas.

Here's a couple of pictures of the 255/60R15 on the front of my Challenger. Keep in mind, she's lived a hard life of daily driving for way too many years and miles. But she's resting now and only goes out for short rides.
